AVON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH GROUP (A.O.S.H)
Avon
Occupational Safety & Health Group is a local society that
exists to promote health, safety, welfare and environment knowledge,
understanding and best practice within the employment community
in the Bristol area.
The
committee are all volunteers and comprise of professional safety
advisors, managers and consultants.
We
have strong links with The Bristol & West Branch of the
Institution of Occupational Safety & Health - in fact many
of our members are also members of IOSH.
Most
meetings feature a presentation by a Health & Safety Professional
upon topical Health, Safety and Environment issues of the day.
Members
and visitors do not need to be Safety Professionals - just an
'interest' in Health & Safety at work will do !
Attendance
at meetings is free of charge to all members and their guests.
Those considering membership are welcome to come to 2 or 3 meetings
before being expected to become a member.
Members
who also belong to the Institution of Occupational Safety &
Health (IOSH) may claim 1 CPD point
for each meeting attended.
Any enquiries about AOSH should, in the first instance, be emailed to Joan Ostheimer, Group Administrator, via the EMAIL US tab. She will redirect any queries to other Committee Members as appropriate.
